The First Modularized Family Express is Going Up

Family Express of Valparaiso, IN, has announced that its first modularized prototype is being erected in Ligonier, IN. The Company is expecting to meet its aggressive new development schedule with its new prototype masonry buildings being prefabricated and assembled in a matter of a few days. Family Express is in the process of executing $100M in development with New-To-Industry stores with several starting this Spring throughout the state of Indiana. 

The new construction method will be delivering approximately 7,200 sq. ft. masonry buildings with a full kitchen and Car Wash. “Our objective,” said Gus Olympidis, President and CEO of Family Express Corp. “is to facilitate the rapid development of our Company and to remedy, to the extent possible, weather-related delays that are typical in the upper Midwest.” 

Several Family Express Stores have already been prefabricated and are ready to be delivered and erected in multiple locations. “The New FE Prototype is using various masonry materials and Nichiha exterior finishes in an effort to deliver an upscale and contemporary feel,” said Peter Andreou, Vice President of Development for FE.
